Define Your Space With Metal Garden Art

Wandering along a garden, small or large, you can find a strategically placed item of metal garden art. Puzzled originally, we’re drawn closer to observe and to our surprise we notice that those are not ducks in the pond but bronze feet appearing to walk across the water!

Once we carry on our journey we find two hounds digging in the dirt, the upper half of one disappearing into his newly dug hole. But no, those are not real dogs. To our delight we discover they’re bronze replicas perfectly capturing the dogs in their frenzied activity.

What other surprises will this garden reveal?

As I wandered around the Royal Botanical Garden in Burlington, Ontario I also discovered a 10′ wide rusted metal spider in his web, half-a-dozen giant steel gentlemen in tuxedos and also a stylish bronze scarecrow. Each adding their unique whimsical touch to an already inspiring garden. From small-scale city yards to breathtaking public gardens metal garden art may be used to charm and entrance.

Although most people don’t have ponds with magical feet, you can find an impressive selection of wonderful metal garden art to fit every taste and budget.

Metal garden sculptures which can be found in steel, copper, bronze as well as recycled metal art are very popular. Place a metal cat on the fence or hide an alligator in the grass. The large red moose emerging from theĀ  bushes looks striking in the snow. A dancing bunny or grinning dog with his bone will convey a playful touch. To have an exotic feel hang a vibrant metal gecko or tree frog onto your fence. The options are endless.

Another option is metal garden stakes that are easy to move around and can perk up a dull spot. Garden stakes of large colorful flowers or crazy critters add a whimsical touch to any yard.

Exploring public gardens is a wonderuful way to spend the day. I delight in all the beautiful plants, but I am just as enamored by the garden art that I encounter on my journey. Embrace your inner artist and add some wonderful, whimsical metal garden art to your outdoor decor.
