Hi, I LOVE this site! I am an organic gardener but have never found such a WEALTH of knowledge in one spot before. I just planted six "Easy Pick" fruit trees and have raised garden beds with everything under the sun planted. I have been really blessed with great soil. In my spare time I sell "used" buttons because I believe in recycling everything as my mother taught me to do. I know I will learn more than I can imagine here, so thank you for presenting all of this wonderful information. Zelda

This is a great gardening post. My wife is crazy about gardening as well. We would be saving a lot of money if she would just stop buying seeds lol.

Yes! There is a huge economic impact when local farmers are patronized by local people. It's one of the best investments in a local economy...and yourself. Also, local farmers don't want to do things to destroy local ecosystems, especially if their clientele will be affected.

A great way to have an organic herb garden at your finger tips all year long is with a hydroponic counter top AeroGarden. It is self sustaining and produces fabulous results in a compact area of your kitchen. you can read more details at www.OrganicGardenGrower.com
